Tottenham Tribute Trust

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Today sees the launch of the Tottenham Tribute Trust website.

As you will recall The Tottenham Tribute Match took place at White Hart Lane on 17th October 2002 where we saw Jurgen Klinsmann, Paul Gascoigne, Chris Waddle, David Ginola, Clive Allen and Paul Allen gracing the hallowed turf. We were also treated to a half time parade of legends, which was capped with Bill Nicholson entering the arena to a standing ovation. He was clearly enjoying himself.

What has happened since then and who is behind the Tottenham Tribute Trust (TTT)?

The TTT was formed out of an initiative between the Club and The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust. It is an independent organisation, which comprises of a Chairman and five other trustees, and its aim is to help former players and staff of the club that, for any reason, may have fallen on difficult times.

The TTT now has a website, which launched today, where details of its work can be found along with an application form to be used by applicants who require the help of the TTT and the names of the Trustees.

The site can be found at

Many people have said that after such a successful evening the hard work has been done, but now the TTT have the hardest task and that’s to try to target the people whom it needs to help.

The TTT realises that whilst people may be experiencing a tough time they may not wish to publish this, and even when the TTT finds these people and help them it may also be their request that they don’t wish for this help to be made public. Therefore the TTT has a difficult task ahead, firstly to identify these people and at the same time where asked, respect their request for this help to remain a private matter.

If you wish to make a donation to the TTT, you can do so by sending a cheque, payable to the Tottenham Tribute Trust to the following address:
