Tottenham Hotspur team through to Premier League Enterprise final after Emirates victory

Tue 07 February 2017, 08:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur representatives Enfield Grammar celebrated after winning their regional Premier League Enterprise round at the Emirates Stadium to progress to the national final in March.

The competition gives secondary school pupils the chance to work with their local professional club on a football business challenge set by Premier League Executive Chairman, Richard Scudamore, with the regional round determining which club will go on and compete in a national final.

This year, teams were asked to come up with ideas on how to attract more fans from the USA. The Enfield Grammar side, who won the right to represent the Club, saw off competition from Arsenal, Chelsea, Bournemouth and Southampton, impressing a panel of judges with their ideas.

Gareth Dace, Education Officer, Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, said: “The competition was extremely strong but our boys delivered an outstanding presentation tailored to the requirements of fans in the USA.

“The Foundation has worked with them on their presentation and we’re incredibly proud that they delivered on the big stage. We will continue to support them on their journey to the national final in March and wish them the very best of luck.”
