Tim Sherwood has spoken of his pride after being appointed our Head Coach on Monday evening.
Our former player and Head of Football Development takes the role with a contract until the end of the 2014-15 campaign.
The first team coaching set-up is completed by Les Ferdinand, Chris Ramsey and Steffen Freund.
"It’s an honour to be Head Coach of this top club. It’s a club that means an awful lot to me," said Tim after training on Christmas Eve.
"I’ve known it from the grass roots right up to the first team, worked at every level of the football club and played here, so I know it better than most.
"Hopefully that will stand me in good stead taking this club forward as Head Coach."
It was suggested to Tim that with his history at the club, his new role probably meant that little more. "Yes, if you cut me in half, I bleed the colour of the club," he added. "It's a proud moment."
Look out for Tim's views on West Brom, coming soon...
