Tim calls for character

Tim Sherwood is looking for a show of character as we return to the Lane for two big games in four days this week.

The Head Coach expressed his disappointment after our 1-0 loss in the Premier League at Norwich on Sunday.

We return to action on Thursday as we bid to overcome a 1-0 first leg deficit against FC Dnipro in the second leg of our Europa League Round of 32 tie.

Cardiff are then the visitors in the Premier League on Sunday (4.30pm).

“Good players and good teams come back when they're down and that's what we've got to do straight away,” said Tim.

“We certainly need to have character now to play in front of our home fans after the disappointment of losing to a team around the bottom of the league.

“That happens, what can you do? You can't crawl into a corner and hide. You have to confront it and have a go.”
