THINK! DRINK DRIVING
With so many games over the festive period we have teamed up with Carlsberg, our official beer partner to bring you this important message.
With so many games over the festive period we have teamed up with Carlsberg, our official beer partner to bring you this important message.Alcohol can cause slow reactions, poor judgement of speed and distance and a reduced field of vision. You wouldn't expect someone to play football under the influence of alcohol and the same goes for driving.
Every year, around 3000 people are killed or seriously injured in drink drive collisions. People of all ages are prone to drink driving but young men between the ages of 17 to 30 are particularly vulnerable. In 2005, male drivers under 30 had the highest incidence of failing a breath test after being involved in a personal injury road accident. What's more, it really does take less than you think to be a drink driver.
We want you to enjoy the football and Christmas but we also want you to get home from the game safely - without putting yourself or others at risk.
