Theo on Bohs test
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Theo Foley has experienced Dalymount Park packed to the rafters - he's expecting a cracking atmosphere for next week's friendly against Bohemians.
We travel to one of Ireland's most famous sporting grounds for the friendly against reigning Eircom League champions on Tuesday.
Dublin-born Theo earned 12 Irish caps - all the home internationals played at Dalymount Park.
He stated: "Bohemians is one of the oldest clubs in Dublin and where all the international games were played prior to going to Lansdowne Road.
"It's a terrific place. I played there in internationals at Dalymount and as a young boy I went there when there were 40-50,000 people in there.
"The atmosphere will be terrific and that will make the night."
Having started his career at his hometown club Home Farm, Theo left Ireland to ply his trade in England at 16, joining the groundstaff at Burnley.
It has remained a common theme for young Irish football stars.
Theo explained: "Most of the young boys come over, like myself, at 16 and desperately want to be players.
"They are boys who don't want to fail and can't really afford to fail and will match anyone with enthusiasm and a will to get on.
"That is where these players come from. Not many have come out of the league and that has always been the case.
"When I was young, I watched it on the television and wanted to get to England to play. That was everything."
Theo expects a tough examination from a side he knows will be desperate to put one over Premiership opponents.
"It will be a good test," he said. "Their feeling is that they are better than what they really are and they will match that with enthusiasm.
"They are well supported, well run and to survive and do as well as they've done is a huge credit to them.
"They will watch all the stars on television and believe, hand on heart, that they are much better. It's great we're going there to play."
