The return of Captain Jacko
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Johnnie Jackson joked after the reserves' win at Wimbledon that handing him back the captain's armband could have been a turning point for the side.
In the previous four games, under the leadership of Dean Marney, the reserves failed to win and Johnnie was away at Swindon Town gaining League experience.
Now something of a role-reversal has taken place and Dean is now on loan at the County Ground while Johnnie has reclaimed his armband.
Coincidence or not, the reserves recorded a long-awaited 2-0 win over the Dons and Jacko was not about to let the fact go unnoticed.
"We were just talking about that in the changing room!" laughed the 20-year-old, who kept tabs on the progress of the reserves while he was away. "Dean Marney has been captain for the last four and lost. For me, one game back - one victory.
"I was speaking to Colin regularly while I was away and knew they were struggling, but we did have a good side out.
"It was good to start a game and win, I only came on against Arsenal last time."
For Jacko, it was a case of reacquainting himself with reserve team football after his spell away and it was the amount of people watching that struck him most.
"It's completely different, the crowd, especially as it was freezing and there was only about five people watching I think.
"It's good to get back among the boys though, see my mates again and get some different coaching."
