The Lane dressed to impress for finale
12 May 2017|Tottenham Hotspur
White Hart Lane is getting dressed one last time, ahead of the final curtain on Sunday.
We're gearing up for an emotional last day at our home of 118 years as we prepare for the visit of Manchester United in the Premier League (4.30pm), followed by our Farewell Ceremony, which will be live on our Facebook channel.
Supporters in the vicinity of the stadium will already be able to see 'The Lane, The Finale' banners paraded on lamp posts on the High Road.
Below: Banners on the High Road
These banners show iconic images from our famous old stadium's history including 'Mr Tottenham', Bill Nicholson, behind the black iron gates that used to be at the entrance to the West Stand and the huge cockerel that sat above the main stand being cleaned all the way back in 1934. Those two banners are pictured above.
Inside the stadium, supporters on Sunday won't fail to notice the 162 sqm screen that has been installed in the North East corner specifically for the Farewell Ceremony that will take place after the final whistle.
To give you a bit of perspective, this screen is roughly three times the size of each of our jumbotrons that hang above the North and South stands.

The players' tunnel has also been dressed for this momentous occasion with our special-edition crest, inspired by some of the most iconic aspects of our famous home, adorning the walls alongside the words 'The Lane, The Finale', which will also sit above the tunnel from the upper tier of the West stand.
