We were very, very disappointed with the outcome of our game at Middlesbrough last weekend.
Certainly the way we played in the first 20 minutes was good and encouraging, and we had a couple of chances in that period, but how we collapsed in that five minute period was very disappointing.
The second goal, of course, as we've seen, was questionable in terms of the sending off and it was certainly outside the box. So that was disappointing as well.
We've been down to ten men before, so to concede so many after that was hard to take.
We must get over it and the thing about our game is that the best opportunity is the next opportunity. These generally come round very quickly, but our next one is the last game of the season and is one where we would like to put on a performance and win the game for our home support.
The teams just behind us could take advantage of any slip-up by us on Sunday and that is one of lots of reasons why we want to do well. The biggest reason, apart from maintaining position, is restoring a bit of pride after a bad defeat.
The lads have got to dig deep and do it, first and foremost for themselves, but for the club and the supporters that travelled.
Blackburn are a very good side who have still got Europe on their minds. They have got a lot of good results against the leading teams and, on their day from an attacking point of view, are as good as most in that top group.
I've got no doubt it will be a difficult game.
Damien Duff will be a big threat and he has been in the news because he is a very, very good player. He's one of a very good team and I know him a little bit better now through Ireland and he has been very good for us.
I think Blackburn missed him badly when he was injured. He came back and has started scoring goals - a real threat.
