The dynamic duo

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Leigh Mills and Jamie O'Hara were naturally buzzing as the reality dawned that they had scored at White Hart Lane and secured a passage to the 6th round of the FA Youth Cup.

Mills opened the scoring on seven minutes when he connected with an inswinging corner from O'Hara - a goal that was all the more special as, until late last week, he was not anticipating making the date with Everton.

The central defender picked up an ankle injury in the 3rd round tie against Nottingham Forest and, even though he featured against Liverpool at Anfield in round four, he thought a return to the Lane was unlikely for him.

"Exactly, I've got Rory (Brown - Academy physio) to thank," reported the summer recruit from Swindon. "It seemed to pick up, I saw a specialist on Friday and he said if it felt okay I could play. I got through it so it is now onto the next game."

His goal was a result of a training ground routine instigated by coach Pat Holland - unlike the second from O'Hara.

"Jamie put a great whip on it, we worked on it in training and luckily the marker didn't come with me so I only had to nod it in from a couple of yards out," added Leigh.

"We did well to hold out, they pushed on in the last 20 with a lot of balls over the top and even their big No.5 was coming up. We defended well and they only had one clear opportunity.

"These seem to be the only games I play at the moment and it is good fun."

For lifelong Spurs fan O'Hara his goal represented the living of a dream.

"It is my first goal here and my first goal of the season! It is just great to get a win here and I love it," reflected the excited midfielder scored a direct hit from a free-kick just outside the area after half an hour.

"Pat wanted me to roll it for Phil Ifil to have a dig and I know that if I missed it he would have had a right moan up at me. I thought 'I'm going to have a go' and luckily enough it's gone in the top corner.

"As I hit it, Stuart Lewis behind me said 'it's in', I looked at him and the ball hit the back of the net. It was just amazing, I just lost it and didn't know what to do.

"I was looking around and thought 'what shall I do' and then I thought 'oh my God - I've scored at White Hart Lane!' My home ground, it is just magic."
