Teddy: We deserved more
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Teddy Sheringham feels that the team did not get their just reward for the positive and enterprising display against Leeds at Elland Road.
After being on the rack in the opening stages and behind to a Mark Viduka goal, the side came into their own and stormed back into a 2-1 lead with goals from Teddy himself and a fine effort from Robbie Keane.

There was no let up in the second half and the lead could have been added to, although Leeds played their part in what was an entertaining period. The skipper was in full agreement that the team played well and deserved three points.
"Most definitely," said Teddy. "We had a dodgy first 20 minutes and really got to grips with things after that. We played some great football, really enjoyed the game and could have gone 3-1 up.
"To be fair to Leeds, they were quite dogged in the second half, put us under a bit of pressure, but we still felt quite comfortable.
"They ended up getting a scrappy penalty and scoring from that - so we're a bit disappointed.
"We always felt that we were going to get a result and we always felt that we were going to score again. We've got good attacking players and good players all over the pitch at this club - it's just about nurturing, sticking together and helping each other.
"We did that last week and did that again here - it's a shame we lost the two points.
"Everybody is very disappointed about not getting the three points from such a commanding position and playing so well."
While Teddy found the net himself, he was happy to concede that Robbie's stole the show.
"Very nice," he added. "I think some people might say we were a little bit lucky with Robbie's goal - with him getting a ricochet right at the end.
"But the passes that we played before that, then he went on the run and his skill took him into the area. A great finish, giving the keeper the eyes and giving him no chance.
"It's a great goal from our point of view and it's just a shame we didn't get to three."
