Team news: Unlucky seven

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

George Graham is still without seven players for Saturday's trip to Derby County.

Chris Perry (calf) is still missing and joins Stephen Carr, due for a hernia operation today (Friday), Ben Thatcher, Mauricio Taricco, Chris Armstrong (all groin/abdomen), Oyvind Leonhardsen (cracked bone in ankle) and Darren Anderton (Achilles) on the sidelines.

Better news sees midfielder Simon Davies (pictured) in the squad after a virus forced him out of last week's encounter against Leeds United at half-time.

Young striker Dave McEwen is back after an ankle problem while loanee hitman Andy Booth is in a squad for the last time before returning to Sheffield Wednesday.

Squad: Sullivan, Walker, Young, Doherty, Campbell, Thelwell, Gardner, King, Clemence, Sherwood, Freund, Davies, Korsten, Etherington, Ferdinand, Rebrov, Iversen, Booth, McEwen.

Branko Strupar believes he is two matches away from full fitness as Derby edge towards safety after helping the Rams to victory against Aston Villa last weekend.

The 31-year-old Belgium striker is on the mend after two hernia operations that curtailed his progress. Now manager Jim Smith has Strupar, Malcolm Christie and Deon Burton all pushing for a place up front in the side on Saturday.

Strupar said: "It is the first time I have had an injury as serious as this. It has almost driven me crazy at times. Now I am just glad to be playing again but I still need two more games before I am back to full fitness."

Squad: Oakes, Higginbotham, West, Riggott, Johnson, Delap, Burley, Powell, Morris, Murray, Strupar, Boertien, Burton, Martin, Blatsis, Grant.
