Mauricio Pochettino reports that Erik Lamela has travelled to Rome to complete his rehabilitation.

The winger has been sidelined with a hip problem since the end of October.

Mauricio explained: “Erik is close but he’s a little frustrated at the moment.

“The team is showing big energy, it’s a special moment and it’s tough for him. He wants to be out there. He has asked to spend some time away and he’s gone to Roma with our staff to finish his recovery.

“Hopefully after that he’ll be available and start to work again with the team.”
