Fredi Kanoute is a doubt for tomorrow night's big Carling Cup showdown against Middlesbrough.
The in-form striker - eight goals in his last nine games - picked up a slight ankle injury in Saturday's defeat at Newcastle United.
However, acting boss David Pleat said he was 'hopeful' the French star would pull through for the quarter-final tie at the Lane.
David reported this afternoon: "Helder Postiga has recovered from a dead leg and we're hoping Fredi will be okay after picking up a knock on Saturday.
"Although a few are battered and bruised, we're hoping all those players who played at Newcastle will be ready to compete against Middlesbrough.
"One or two have had treatment, one player has had a bit of sickness but generally speaking we're all okay."
Bobby Zamora (calf), Christian Ziege, Jamie Redknapp (both knee) and Simon Davies (hip) remain out.
Boro's defensive record has been exemplary since our goalless draw in the Premiership at the Lane back in September.
That result kick-started a run now standing at eight clean sheets in nine games.
However, Steve McClaren's men have only scored one goal in their last five games.
"Records are there to be broken," added David. "Their record proves unequivocally that they have strong organisation and defensive ability.
"But only three or four games ago we were saying that ourselves and three defeats in the 12 games before Newcastle were all by the odd goal.
"That changed on Saturday. Goals change games, as we saw at Newcastle and certainly if we can get in front then they'll have to come out and play.
"We have to make sure we have the sense of urgency that a cup tie requires and we hope that we can inspire the crowd and don't expect them to inspire us."
