Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

David Pleat reports that three players are 'touch and go' for tomorrow's clash against Chelsea.

The doubtful trio are Christian Ziege, Gary Doherty and Stephen Carr.

Christian had to come off at half-time at Southampton last week with a groin injury, Stephen flew back early from Irish duty after feeling a knee problem while Gary turned his ankle in Ireland's 2-1 win against the Czech Republic.

He was stretchered off but the signs are the injury is not as serious as first feared.

Better news sees Ledley King available after a hamstring problem ruled him out of any potential England call-up this week and Mauricio Taricco back in the squad.

"Ledley has had a bit of a rest this week," said David at his pre-Chelsea press conference at Spurs Lodge this afternoon. "He had a tight hamstring last week and I felt for him because with 15 minutes to go he told us he was struggling.

"Doherty and Carr are touch and go, but more touch than go. We're hoping Taricco will be okay and Ziege came off injured last week, he's also touch and go."

Definitely missing though are OJ Mabizela, Darren Anderton, Dean Richards, Rob Burch and Simon Davies, although Simon is back in training and progressing well.

David added: "I watched South Africa play Australia on Tuesday and it was a terrific game, OJ Mabizela captained South Africa and did very well. He trained yesterday and looked fresh and ready but unfortunately picked up a knee injury.

"Anderton is still out with his Achilles, Davies is improving nicely, Richards has a virus and Burch is still out with an ankle injury."
