Gareth Bale is set to return against Wigan on Tuesday night after missing Friday's FA Cup win at Watford.

The winger was sidelined by a thigh problem as we came through a real test in the fourth round tie at Vicarage Road.

He trained this morning (Monday, January 30) and is now likely to be available as we step back into Premier League action against the Latics at the Lane.

However, Joe Jordan reported that Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe are both doubtful after picking up hamstring injuries at Watford.

"We'll have to see how they settle down," said first team coach Joe Jordan before training at Spurs Lodge this morning.

"They will not train with the squad, they'll train inside and do some physiotherapy, that's it.

"We'll then see how they are tomorrow.

"Gareth will train this morning and Ledley King will be available if he comes through training."

Joe also reported that Sandro is back in training but is not yet available for selection.

"Sandro has trained but he's been out for a month and he's not in the physical condition he was five weeks ago," added Joe.

"But he's back, his injury is clear and we've got to build him up now."
