Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe are back in the frame to face Newcastle on Saturday.

Both have been out for our last two Premier League matches against Wigan and Liverpool after picking up hamstring injuries in the FA Cup win at Watford on January 27.

There was also positive news on Ledley King, who trained with the squad this morning (Friday, February 9) having played at Anfield on Monday.

"Jermain has trained okay in the last couple of days and Aaron Lennon as well, he's coming back, he's looked sharp," reported Harry Redknapp before training on Friday.

"Ledley, again, we'll have to wait and see. He's coming out this morning to have a jog around and we'll see how he is."

On the down side, Rafa van der Vaart remains out with a calf strain while both Younes Kaboul (knee) and Sandro (calf) are 'struggling', according to Harry.

Meanwhile, William Gallas is on his way back from a calf injury. "He's started to jog again but he's still a couple of weeks away," added Harry.
