Harry Redknapp still has a number of players sidelined as he prepares for Saturday's clash against Blackburn at the Lane.

David Bentley (groin), Tom Huddlestone (ankle), Jermaine Jenas (groin), Ledley King (thigh), Aaron Lennon (groin), Carlo Cudicini (wrist, pelvis) and Jonathan Woodgate (groin) are all out.

However, the news is positive on David and JJ - both are closing in on a return to training - while goalkeeper Carlo is scheduled to have a plate removed from his wrist next week.

"JJ is probably the closest to returning, he's starting to a bit of running," reported Harry. "But we're okay. Luka Modric played in central midfield at Fulham and did ever so well for us."

Harry also revealed that Jonathan Woodgate has undergone surgery on his groin injury - FULL STORY HERE...
