Aaron Lennon and Roman Pavlyuchenko remain out for Saturday's trip to Birmingham in the Barclays Premier League.

Aaron Lennon and Roman Pavlyuchenko remain out for Saturday's trip to Birmingham in the Barclays Premier League.

Both have groin injuries. Aaron has been out since December 28 while Roman picked up a groin strain after scoring against Leeds in the FA Cup last weekend and missed Tuesday night's victory against Fulham.

Better news sees Benoit Assou-Ekotto cleared by a specialist to start rehabilitation on the hip problem that has kept him out since early January.

Jonathan Woodgate (groin) and Carlo Cudicini (pelvis, wrist) remain sidelined.
