Take your degree at Tottenham Hotspur

We are delighted to announce the validation of a second Degree course to be offered by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.

FdSc Applied Sport Hospitality & Nutrition, a two-year Foundation Degree combining theoretical study with practical cooking sessions and active work placements, will commence in April.

The course offers a unique opportunity to study and work in sport hospitality within a Premier League Football Club. The programme is delivered at White Hart Lane stadium by qualified and experienced lecturers employed by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation. Facilities include the Spurs Learning Zone as well as the large stadium kitchens.

Modules studied by students include Study Skills, Nutrition, Sport Hospitality, Marketing & Management and two placement modules. The placement modules allow students to gain experience working within the sports hospitality industry.

This exciting new course allows those currently working in the hospitality industry or those with an interest in hospitality and sport to combine the two sectors and up-skill their qualifications.

Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is hosting a Higher Education Open Day at White Hart Lane on Wednesday 22 February 2012, 10.00am – 2.00pm. This will provide information on the new course and the current Foundation Degree in Sport and Community Development. There will also be some interactive workshops, a stadium tour, a question and answer session and the opportunity to interview for a place on the course (optional).

The Foundation Degrees complete the educational pathway that young people can access through the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation. The Club provides a unique environment where young people can build their self-esteem and confidence, raise their aspirations, gain new skills and knowledge and improve their potential employment opportunities. The Education, Enterprise, Employment and Skills department offers education provision from Key Stage 1 through to Further and Higher Education.

If you would like to book onto the Open Day or would like more information, please contact: Laura Cornell at or 020 8365 5119.
