Swede dreams for Erik
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Erik Edman says he would relish the challenge of facing his fellow Swedes when Southampton come to the Lane on Saturday.
Mikael Nilsson, Andreas Jakobsson, Andreas Svensson and Michael Svensson are all with the St Mary's club, although Michael Svensson will miss out through injury.
Jakobsson, Andreas Svensson and Nilsson all started in new boss Harry Redknapp's first game in charge last weekend when Southampton let a 2-0 lead slip in the final minutes against Middlesbrough.
"I saw that game live at St Mary's and think Southampton really played well, especially Jakobsson, he was outstanding," said Erik.
"I've played with Jakobsen (pictured left) at Helsingborgs and he's a great player, one of my favourite players to play alongside. He's always calm, reads the game really well and is great with the ball.
"Nilsson is normally a right midfielder but they've been struggling at right-back so he's been playing there.
"Andreas Svensson is a creative midfielder who likes to go forward and shoot, he has a great shot and if he gets the opportunity he can score some nice goals.
"Michael has been injured for a long time now and won't be able to play.
Erik has been missing since picking up an ankle injury at Aston Villa but expects to return to the squad this weekend.
"I feel fit," he added. "You try to just get on with it in games like this, although it's a nice challenge. Of course I want to do well against them. I'm looking forward to coming back but we have a winning run so I'll have to wait to see if I get my chance."
