Spurs are aiming for a fourth consecutive win in the Premier League and have an excellent record against Swansea.
They’ve won their last four meetings and with the Swans on a seven-game winless streak they look deserved favourites for Sunday's match.
Many of Spurs' best performances this season have come on the road as they’ve won their last four away matches and since the start of last term they’ve won 11 of 15 trips to teams in the bottom half.
Swansea have also been better away than at home this season and, further back, only Sunderland have won fewer of their last 20 home games than the Swans. With five defeats and just one win in their last eight home matches against top-half teams Swansea are worth opposing and Tim Sherwood’s men can be backed at 5/4.
Swansea’s troubles at the Liberty Stadium have not been down to a lack of goals however, as they’ve failed to score in just one of their opening 10 home matches this season.
That has led to 8/10 games having at least three goals, including all five against top-half teams. Spurs have looked far more threatening going forward in recent weeks and 10 of their last 15 trips to bottom-half teams have had at least three goals, which has included seven wins with both teams scoring. Over 2.5 Goals is a tempting 5/6.
Christian Eriksen has scored in Spurs’ last two league games and with Swansea giving up plenty of goals to attacking midfielders this season the Dane could be worth a punt in the scorer markets to net again at 7/2.
