Tim Sherwood expects Stoke to be a ‘different proposition’ to the team we beat 3-0 at the Lane in December.
We dominated that day – 20 shots to two tells the story – and goals from Roberto Soldado, Mousa Dembele and Aaron Lennon secured a comfortable win.
However, Stoke at the Britannia remains one of the toughest trips in the Premier League – backed-up by impressive results on home soil again this term.
Stoke have beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and United at the Brit and drawn against City and Everton. They also go into this fixture with just two defeats in 12 matches, lifting them up to 10th in the Premier League.
"I watched that game back this week and they only had two shots at goal, it was quite comfortable - we don't anticipate it being the same this time," said Tim.
"They have taken some big scalps at home and we don’t want to be added to that list.
"Their style of play has changed somewhat under Mark Hughes, not so much up and at you, but they will have a lot of passion and endeavour and we'll look to match that and play our football.
"We'll try to quieten down the crowd, keep possession and frustrate them. Our away form has been good and the lads are confident."
