Stoke v Spurs - Mauricio's preview
18 April 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
Mauricio Pochettino has full respect for Mark Hughes.
"I think he’s one of the best British managers," said Mauricio ahead of tonight's clash at Stoke. "I like the way Stoke play. They have very good players and it’s a club that has changed its philosophy a lot in the last few years. It will be a very tough game."
We travel to the Britannia Stadium for an 8pm kick-off in the Premier League knowing victory will cut Leicester's lead at the top to five points.
Stoke are ninth having beaten City, United and Chelsea and picked up draws against Leicester and Arsenal on home soil.

They also came from 2-0 down to pick up a point at the Lane earlier in the season. "I think we’ve improved a lot since then," added Mauricio.
"It’s true that was a disappointing game because we were 2-0 up and then 2-2. This is a different game in a different period and different circumstances.
"It’s important for us to get the three points and that's not just because we play for a big objective, but because we also want to improve in our jobs every day."
