Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
The visit of Liverpool to the Lane on Saturday has been eagerly anticipated by Teemu Tainio, who is particularly looking forward to the prospect of taking on his friend and countryman Sami Hyypia.
It has been well documented that Teemu and one friend were very much a minority growing up in Finland as Spurs fans and were completely outnumbered by followers of the Anfield side.
But it is his footballing friend Hyypia who Teemu is very keen to get one over as Liverpool recorded a double victory over Auxerre in a UEFA Cup clash in 2003.
"It is a very big game for me because I can play against my very good friend Hyypia!" said Teemu with a smile. "All my friends are Liverpool fans so I must show them that we can beat Liverpool.
"I must win against Sami because he's always telling me he's won the last two times we have played. I must take my revenge now."
Hyypia has won just about every trophy except the Premiership title since joining Liverpool from Willem II back in 1999, a move which proved a huge success for the now 31-year-old. His achievements have come as no surprise to Teemu and he was especially pleased for the central defender when he got to lift the biggest prize of all back in May.
"In Finland we knew he was a good player. He wasn't so big in Holland because they play so much on the ground and that is not the best part of Sami's play.
"He has done an excellent job in England, he is very good in the air, always calm and a top defender.
"It was excellent when he won the Champions League and I called him straight away after the game. I was so happy for him and it is always good to see your friends when big trophies. I hope soon I will win something here and he will be happy for me.
"I spoke to him for many years about coming to England. He said he thought I would do well here and now I have to show him he was right."
