*Henry's high

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Ronnie Henry described walking out at Old Trafford as 'the best feeling I've ever had'.

Our young defender was drafted into the first team squad for the first time late last week for, no less, the trip to Manchester United.

And Ronnie didn't just go for the experience - he was named on the substitute's bench and could have tasted Premiership action for the first time if a defender suffered an injury.

The 18-year-old appeared to take it all in his stride but, as he later revealed, that was far from the case.

Grandson of the great, double-winning Ron Henry, Ronnie admitted: "I was a bit nervous but it's something that's got to be experienced.

"When I walked out at Old Trafford it was the best feeling I've ever had. I started getting cold and shivering.

"I thought I might be going on after 20 minutes when Gary Doherty went down but he got back up and played on.

"I enjoyed every minute of it. It's hard to focus on what you've got to do when there are 67,000 fans there but you have to get it out of your mind and be professional about it."

Ronnie missed our reserve draw at Forest on Monday as a precaution with a slight tightness in the hamstring but he's hoping his form for Colin Calderwood's team will continue to impress Glenn Hoddle.

He added: "Hopefully I'll get a chance, try and show what I can do and take it from there. It's gone well this season for the reserves and hopefully that will continue and I'll eventually make the step up to the first team."
