*Coach on Kasey
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Goalkeeping coach Hans Segers is a happy onlooker at the moment, with his current star pupil Kasey Keller earning top marks for his displays so far this season.
After featuring and doing well in the final seven games of last season, Kasey got the nod to start the new campaign and has been pretty much faultless in his performances so far and appears visibly confident is every aspect of his game.
Coach Hans is not about to disagree with this assessment.
"Yes! He is doing so well and I'm very pleased for him," said the Dutchman. "He came in at the start of the season and grabbed his chance again with both hands and I think he's never looked back.
"I look at and analyse every game and so far, for me, in four of them he's been Man of the Match.
"The secret with goalkeepers is the consistency. So my job really is to keep his as sharp as ever, day in day out and for every match he goes out to play. That is my job.
"To keep a goalkeeper consistent is what is needed and that can prove the difference between the good goalkeepers and the excellent goalkeepers.
"You are seeing a goalkeeper playing at the top of his game, full of confidence. I've seen other games when the opposite is the case, but he is working hard with me every day.
"He's been a really good professional and I've got no complaints with him. I'm just very pleased he's come through so well."
Being the calm and unflappable type of keeper, it seems unlikely that Kasey would ever have to suffer inclusion in a bloopers video. Hans hopes that he saves them all for the training ground.
"He had one this morning in training and I said to him 'better now than Saturday'. These things happen, even the top goalkeepers make one mistake or another.
"If you can go through a whole season with less than a handful then you've done well.
"So far so good with Kasey - he's been tremendous."
