Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

The Club receives charity requests daily from all types of organizations and individuals aiming to raise funds for their cause.

Each request is for a resource e.g. signed merchandise, player visits, tickets to games and so on. To manage the demand on the Club resources, and to ensure the Club delivers a focused, planned and worthwhile charity policy, we have consolidated our efforts into three well deserving causes for the next two seasons, with a review at the end of that period.

The Club will focus on three causes:

Locally, The White House - A Haven House Foundation
Nationally, Cancer Research UK
Internationally, ORBIS

Haven House Foundation - The White House
The Haven House Foundation is raising funds to refurbish and run The White House. The house will offer short-term respite care and hospice care to children who suffer from life limiting and terminal conditions. The house is situated in Mallinson Park, Woodford Green, North East London.

Cancer Research UK
More than one in three people will develop cancer at some point. Few of us go through life without coming into contact with the disease in some way. Cancer Research UK aims to protect and promote the health of the public by research into the nature, causes, prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer. All aspects of cancer research are pursued.

180 million people are blind or have severe visual impairment. 80% of blindness can be prevented or cured by providing access to basic eye care. ORBIS works in partnership with governments, medical professionals and local health workers to eliminate avoidable blindness by running long-term country based programmes and by operating the world's only Flying Eye Hospital, which has visited over 70 countries.

Additional requests for charity items, signed merchandise, player appearances etc. will be dealt with on an individual basis. Please put your request in writing to Ann Vetere, Charity
Co-ordinator, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, Bill Nicholson Way, 748 High Road, Tottenham, London N17 OAP.

We limit our ground collections so fans are not solicited on a regular basis. The Club encourages the collections at 'category C' games, which enjoy more of a family atmosphere. Collectors will be well identified.

For the third season running, the Club will support Football Aid - a nationwide initiative run by clubs up and down the country. Lucky fans can realize their dream by playing a game alongside club legends on White Hart Lane's hallowed turf. Around half the money raised will go towards Football Aid's charity arm for diabetes research, and the remainder will be distributed to the Clubs' nominated charities and the FA Premier League's nominated Charity, The Princes' Trust.

The FA Premier League and The Club work closely with The Princes Trust, a youth programme which creates new opportunities for 14-30 year olds in need; those who are unemployed or facing barriers in life. This leading youth charity develops confidence, teaches new skills, gets the youth into work and supports worthwhile business start ups.
