Benji Stambouli feels like his hard work on the training ground is validated every time he takes to the field.
The defensive midfielder has appeared in our Europa League and Capital One Cup exploits after making his Premier League debut off the bench at Sunderland, shortly after his arrival from Montpellier earlier this term.
And as we continue to battle on a number of fronts both at home and abroad, the 24-year-old Frenchman has spoken about the importance of staying sharp at all times so that he’s able to perform to the highest possible standard in all the competitions.
“When you don’t play every game you have to work to keep the rhythm,” he said. “We always train hard because when we are on the pitch, we have to make an impact.
“It’s a good thing to be in good physical condition and then you can enjoy your football on the pitch.”
