Stadium feedback update

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Regular visitors to the site will have seen the recent fan survey we conducted regarding your views on the option of relocating if we cannot develop White Hart Lane satisfactorily.

In the first of a series of questionnaires on matters relating to the stadium, we sought the views of our supporters on the issue of moving away from the Lane if we were unable to gain support for, in particularly, improved local transportation.

We would like to assure fans that our preferred option is to remain at White Hart Lane, and we continue to pursue this with the national and local Government. The aim of the survey was to understand the views of fans if we have to look at other options.

Approximately 13,000 fans have voted so far and the results have given us some idea of your views regarding this particular issue. There will be more detailed surveys as we progress with the project, collecting your views on many different aspects regarding the development.

Around 90% of fans said they would consider a move if it meant improved transport and matchday facilities, larger capacity and long-term financial stability. There seemed to be a split in views regarding the consideration of a possible ground share. It is obviously a passionate subject and one that we will revisit should the option present itself as viable.

These results are a guide for us as we progress the project and at this early stage they have helped us gauge the feeling around this subject.

We would like to thank all those who took part and hope that we see a similar response to future surveys.
