Spurs weekend preview - Everton, Arsenal away twice in 24 hours!
Thu 02 March 2017, 13:33|Tottenham Hotspur
The weekend's action gets underway with two trips to Arsenal in as many days, before we host Everton at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday. Here's a run-down of which of our teams are in action and when...
First team
SPURS v EVERTON
Premier League
Sunday, March 5, 2017
White Hart Lane, 1.30pm
Everton arrive at White Hart Lane on Sunday unbeaten in the Premier League since December 19.
Seventh in the standings at the start of the weekend, they beat Sunderland 2-0 at home last Saturday, with a goalless draw at Middlesbrough and an astonishing 6-3 home win over Bournemouth before that.
Development squad
ARSENAL v SPURS
Premier League 2
Friday, March 3, 2017
Colney training centre, 2pm
The weekend gets underway on Friday afternoon with a North London derby in the Premier League 2 at Arsenal's training ground.
A 1-0 victory at home to Sunderland last week means we go into the game with momentum, while three points would give us another huge boost as we look to move further away from the relegation zone amid a congested lower half of the table.
You'll be able to follow the match with live updates on Twitter @SpursOfficial.
Under-18s
ARSENAL v SPURS
Under-18 Premier League
Saturday, March 4, 2017
Colney training centre, 11am
By coincidence, our Under-18 Premier League trip to Arsenal – rearranged following its postponement in January due to a frozen pitch – comes less than 24 hours after our development squad meets the Gunners in the Premier League 2.
This game represents our final outing in the initial stage of the league season before we join merit group two, featuring the fifth to eighth-placed sides from the northern and southern divisions, for the remainder of the campaign.
The lads will be full of confidence after Monday's thrilling 5-3 victory at Newcastle United in the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals and will naturally be keen to carry that into what is always a hotly-contested league fixture.
Once again, we'll have live updates on Twitter @SpursOfficial.
Spurs Ladies
SPURS LADIES v CARDIFF CITY LADIES
FA Women's Premier League Cup, semi-finals
Sunday, March 5, 2017
Cheshunt FC, 2pm
The big games keep on coming for Spurs Ladies as they continue their defence of the FA Women's Premier League Cup on Sunday with a semi-final clash with Cardiff City at Cheshunt.
Cardiff are one of the sides vying for the league's southern division crown along with Spurs, meaning it promises to be a thrilling game.
