Spurs weekend preview - Arsenal, Fulham, Gillingham

05 November 2016|Tottenham Hotspur

Here's a run-down of all of our teams' fixtures this weekend...

First team
Premier League
Sunday, November 6, 2016
Emirates Stadium, 12pm

It's North London derby weekend, with the first meeting of the season between us and Arsenal taking place at the Emirates Stadium at 12noon on Sunday.

The Gunners have won their last three games in a row in all competitions, although the last time they ran out in Premier League action on their own soil they were held to a goalless draw by Middlesbrough.

Harry Kane is back in the squad after several weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury, although Mauricio Pochettino has a number of other injury problems to contend with.

In addition, as the Club continues to mark this period of Remembrance 100 Years on from the Battle of the Somme, the team will wear special edition shirts emblazoned with a Poppy during the game. In support of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, the match-worn shirts will be signed by the players and auctioned to raise money for the charity next week.

Under-18 Premier League
Saturday, November 5, 2016
Motspur Park, 11am

Our Under-18s kick-off the weekend's action this morning (Saturday) with a London derby against Fulham at their training ground.

The players have built up some healthy momentum over the last few weeks, taking seven points out of a possible nine in their last three Under-18 Premier League outings before picking up a well-earned victory at home to Bayer Leverkusen's Under-19s in the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday at the Training Centre.

Spurs Ladies
FA Women's Premier League Cup
Sunday, November 6, 2016
Cheshunt FC, 2pm

After moving joint-top of the FA Women's Premier League with a convincing 4-0 win at C&K Basildon last weekend, Spurs Ladies turn their attentions back to League Cup duty on Sunday.

After thrashing Enfield Town Ladies 5-1 in the last round, Karen Hills' side will be aiming to progress even further when they host Gillingham Ladies at Cheshunt, kick-off 2pm.

It's the first of two home games for the Ladies in the space of four days, with Tonbridge Angels Ladies set to come to Cheshunt on Thursday night (kick-off 7.45pm) in The Women's Cup Sponsored by Boux (formerly the Ryman Women's Cup).
