Spurs vs Stoke - pick up a new-look programme!

13 August 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

Our official matchday programme is back this Saturday with a brand new look and is packed full of fresh content ahead of our first home game of the season.

100 pages long, the popular publication has a new cover design with recent signing Toby Alderweireld adorning the first one as we prepare to welcome Stoke City to White Hart Lane.

Belgian international Toby, who joined us from Atletico Madrid earlier this summer, speaks exclusively about his first few weeks at Spurs – including his debut at Old Trafford last Saturday and what he expects to bring to the Club – in our main interview.

Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino, meanwhile, shares his views on events in the last few weeks in his exclusive programme column, while we’ve all you need to know about Mark Hughes’ men ahead of the Potters’ latest visit to our enclosure.

There are plenty of new features included as well, including ‘Visiting Greats’ which profiles Stoke’s legendary former goalkeeper Peter Shilton, while our new ‘Tracking Back’ item takes one present and one past player and looks at their fortunes on the pitch during this week in years gone by – first up, Christian Eriksen and former midfielder Milenko Acimovic.

Our ‘Back Beat’ feature shines the spotlight on the matchday programme from one of Stoke’s previous visits back in 1934-35, while we hear from former striker Garth Crooks, who represented both clubs with distinction during the 1970s and 1980s.

Elsewhere, we’ve game-by-game coverage of our Under-21s’ and Under-18s’ recent endeavours after a busy pre-season period and successful opening weekend of league action, while we also hear from two of our young players on their hopes and aspirations for the year ahead.

Spurs Ladies also have their own dedicated page, while we’ve all the latest news from around the Club and much more – all packed into this Saturday’s official matchday programme.

Remember, programmes are on sale from various locations around the stadium on matchdays, priced at £3.50.

If you’re unable to get to the game, you can buy individual copies of our matchday programmes here or find out how to subscribe for the season here.
