Spurs vs Stoke - Mauricio's preview
15 August 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
Mauricio Pochettino says the players have moved on from last season’s encounters against Stoke.
The Potters got the better of us home and away in the Premier League last term but Mauricio stated: “It’s a different season, different players, all matches are different.
“Stoke are a strong team, last season they beat us twice and for us it’s a chance to try and beat them.
“It’s very important to be back at White Hart Lane and we need to show that we are a consistent team.
“The players are determined and we’re at a good level.”

We lost somewhat unluckily at Old Trafford in last week’s opener and the same could be said for Stoke, who played well against Liverpool only to be beaten by a late wondergoal by Philippe Coutinho.
“I watched the game and thought Stoke deserved more than Liverpool but this is football,” added Mauricio. “They look strong, but that’s not only Stoke.
“The players have worked hard this week and we’ve tried to fix some problems we had against United. Now we’re excited about returning to White Hart Lane.”
