Spurs vs Saints - pick up a programme!

22 March 2014|Tottenham Hotspur

Kyle Naughton is the cover star of this Sunday’s matchday programme for the visit of Southampton.

Our versatile full-back, a regular feature in the side of late, is the first face you’ll see on another jam-packed edition of our 100-page publication – on sale at the Lane on Sunday for just £3.50.

Kyle’s fellow defender Younes Kaboul is the subject of our main interview, the Frenchman reflecting on his pride at leading the team out in the absence of club captain Michael Dawson and revealing his desire to push the boundaries of his previous performances on the pitch.

Tim Sherwood reflects of Thursday night’s Europa League battle with Benfica in his latest exclusive programme column, while we’ve all the relevant facts and stats as we enter the season’s home straight.

We’ve plenty of match-specific content too – we look at the possible line-up and tactics of Southampton in our regular Opposition Files feature, while we take a closer look at some of the Saints’ key personnel and find out their sentiments ahead of the game at White Hart Lane.

Our Shirt Swop feature is also back, as we look at another group of players who’ve donned the colours of both Spurs and Southampton down the years.

Meanwhile, we trawl the archives to dig out some intriguing photos from our club’s history while the regular Back Pass feature remembers our trips to the Saints’ former home, The Dell.

In addition, we cast our minds back to the 1983-84 season in our 30 Years Ago Today item.

And having scored a brace against Benfica on Thursday, Belgian star Nacer Chadli recalls his favourite memories from past World Cups as we continue our build-up to this summer’s tournament finals in Brazil.

All this and more – including a look at what Sandro, Heurelho Gomes and a host of our Academy stars have been doing for Sport Relief – is in Sunday’s matchday programme, on sale at £3.50 for 100 pages from various points around the stadium and from the Spurs Megastore.
