Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs beat Manchester United in their last Premier League game with a win at Old Trafford to make it 10 points from a possible 12 over the festive period.
Crystal Palace have also enjoyed a mini-revival since Tony Pulis took charge to lift themselves off the foot of the table.
Since the start of last season Spurs have won all nine games they’ve played against promoted teams and with their confidence up they are deservedly strong favourites.
Palace have recorded 1-0 wins at Aston Villa and Hull this term but they’ve lost their other eight away matches and have managed just five goals on the road in total.
Moreover, the Eagles have picked up just one point from their nine games this season against the current top nine, failing to score on seven occasions.
Spurs’ last four matches against promoted teams have all finished 1-0 after being goalless at the break and while Palace may make them work hard the home Win to Nil looks the best bet at Evens.
Tim Sherwood looks to have given the Lilywhites a greater threat going forward but Pulis has certainly improved Palace’s defence.
With the away side likely to keep it tight for as long as they can a low-scoring contest looks most likely. 10 of Palace’s last 12 matches have had fewer than three goals while four of their last five on the road have had just one strike.
Splitting bets between the 1-0 and 2-0 correct scores is one way to go here but backing Under 2.5 Goals at Evens also looks a good option.
