Our Barclays Under-18 Premier League campaign gets underway on Saturday with a home game against Norwich City.
The Canaries visit the Training Centre for a 12pm kick-off, with Under-18s Coach Kieran McKenna confirming the lads are raring to go after a packed summer programme that included reaching the semi-finals of the highly-rated Eurofoot tournament in Belgium earlier this month.
“We’ve had a busy pre-season schedule but the boys are looking forward to getting into the league campaign now,” said McKenna.
“Norwich in the first game will be a good challenge and it’s nice to have the first match here at home.
“As always, the boys will be looking to put in good performances individually and as a group, and hopefully make a good first impression at the start of the season.”
