12 September 2013|Tottenham Hotspur
Andre Villas-Boas said the majority of the squad have returned from international duty with a clean bill of health and the players are raring to go for our return to Premier League action against Norwich City at the Lane on Saturday.
We had 12 players away with senior international squads and only Gylfi Sigurdsson returned with a dead leg, although he still took part in training on Thursday.
Andre reported: “Gylfi had a dead leg, although he did the beginning of training today (Thursday).
“Erik Lamela arrived back (from Argentina’s match in Paraguay) this morning, but most of the players are fit and looking good. We are ready to go into the game.”
Aaron Lennon (foot) and Etienne Capoue (ankle) remain sidelined.
