Spurs vs Leicester - pick up a programme!

23 January 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

After featuring in a series of victories at White Hart Lane in the last fortnight, Eric Dier takes pride of place on the front cover of Saturday’s official matchday programme for the visit of Leicester City in the FA Cup.

As we prepare to do battle with the Foxes in the Fourth Round of the competition, the young defender also discusses his first six months at the Club in our main interview – addressing his recent centre-half partnership with Jan Vertonghen and the main differences between playing football here and in Portugal, having arrived in North London from Sporting Lisbon last summer.

Elsewhere, we’ve the views of Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino in his latest exclusive programme column while we’ve all you need to know about Leicester’s squad ahead of the visit of Nigel Pearson’s side.

We also revisit the matchday programme from our clash with the Foxes from 1927, while shining the spotlight on the two cup finals in which we’ve opposed Leicester over the years; the 1961 FA Cup Final and the League Cup equivalent in 1999.

The man who scored the winning goal in the latter match, Allan Nielsen, joins current goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to discuss fixtures against the Foxes in Time After Time, while we take a wider look at our previous FA Cup ties on January 24 throughout history.

Plus, the second instalment of our FA Cup-themed A-Z feature is included, along with all the latest news from across the Club.

Make sure you buy your copy at Saturday’s game. Programmes will be on sale, priced at £3.50 for 100 pages, from a number of points around the stadium and from the Spurs Megastore.
