Spurs vs Hull - Steffen expects difficult test

Steffen Freund has Wembley in his sights as we get set for Capital One Cup action on Wednesday evening.
We have a quick reunion against Hull City – a side we edged past in the Premier League thanks to Roberto Soldado’s late penalty on Sunday – in the fourth round of the competition this week.
And as we prepare for the tie, with a place in the quarter-finals at stake, Assistant Head Coach Steffen reckons we have the potential to go all the way as our challenge continues on all fronts.
“It will be a difficult game again,” said Steffen, who saw us comfortably beat Aston Villa in the last round.
“We have four chances to win some silverware, and if we beat Hull we are in the last eight and we have a big, big chance to go all the way.
“To get to the last eight would bring a really, really good possibility for the club and the players to play at Wembley.
“It is a great experience for every player to go to Wembley. My view is you cannot have enough games there! Tottenham Hotspur is a club that can go all the way in cup games.”
Steffen says lessons have also been learned after the Tigers put up a strong resistance in our Premier League meeting at the weekend.
“Last time they played in a 5-4-1 formation with three centre-halves and two deep full-backs,” added Steffen.
“It’s difficult to break down and get behind the back five, but let’s see what happens on Wednesday.”
