Spurs vs Everton U21s - Ugo's preview

10 August 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

Hugo Lloris and Alex Pritchard are set to play for our Under-21s when they kick off their season with a home match against Everton this lunchtime (Monday, August 10).

The pair will join our younger players for the game in a bid to build up their match-fitness levels following respective wrist and ankle injuries.

Ahead of the Barclays Under-21 Premier League opener, Under-21s Coach Ugo Ehiogu has called for our young lads to pull together some of the most positive aspects of their pre-season performances and give a good account of themselves against the Toffees.

“We’re looking for the boys to put in all the things we’ve talked about and to perform together,” he said.

“We know they might be a little bit rusty at times because it’s the first game of the season, but we’ll be looking for intensity and a willingness to press quickly.”

Kick-off at the Training Centre is at 12noon. Follow us on Twitter @SpursOfficial for live updates.

Squad: Lloris, Voss, Amos, Azzaoui, Ball, Carter-Vickers, Coulthirst, Harrison, Lesniak, Maghoma, McEvoy, Oduwa, Ogilvie, A Pritchard, Sonupe, Walker-Peters.
