Spurs vs Burnley - betting preview with Marathonbet

Fri 19 December 2014, 13:59|Tottenham Hotspur

Every time Spurs have won two games in a row in all competitions this season, they have then gone on to win a third – a state of affairs that will concern Burnley ahead of their arrival at White Hart Lane.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side dispatched Newcastle United with ease in the week and will see Burnley as another winnable game given the Clarets’ struggles adapting to life in the top flight.

Sean Dyche’s side have shown signs of improvement of late, however, losing only one of their last six games while racking up wins over Hull City, Stoke City and, most impressively, Southampton.

Only one of those wins has been away from Turf Moor though and they appear unlikely at 67/10 to add to their tally here.

Harry Kane has been finding the net with regularity for the hosts and notched his 13th goal in all competitions against The Magpies on Wednesday. The England Under-21 star is 47/10 to open the scoring on Saturday, or 13/10 to net anytime.

At 6/5 to find the net in both halves , Kane is unlikely to be the only one encouraged by the visitors’ leaky defence – only one team has conceded more than their 24 – and the hosts to win by two (16/5) or three (31/5) certainly deserves consideration.
