Spurs v Reading U21s - Ugo's preview

14 September 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

Ugo Ehiogu is once again looking for a bright performance from our Under-21s when they take on Reading at Stevenage tonight (Monday, September 14).

We return to Barclays Under-21 Premier League action at the Lamex Stadium looking for a return to winning ways after a heavy defeat at Everton in the Premier League International Cup a fortnight ago.

Under-21s Coach Ugo has confirmed the players have performed with good levels of intensity in training since that match – and he’s now looking for them to carry that over into our clash with the Royals.

“The boys have been very good in training, showing some high intensity and producing some good play – plus they’ve shown a willingness to get better, which is always a good sign,” he said today.

“It’s a home game for us tonight, it’ll be the first time we’ve played a league game at Stevenage this season and it’s our first night game as well.

“For us, though, we’re just looking for the boys to show some of the things they’ve done in training and show that they’re continuing to learn and adapt.”

Tickets will be available on the night – details here.
