Spurs v Newcastle - pick up a programme!

11 December 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

Danny Rose is pictured on the front cover of our official matchday programme for Sunday’s visit of Newcastle United in the Premier League.

We’ve another jam-packed 100-page edition available as we take to the pitch at White Hart Lane for the second time this week.

Summer recruit Kevin Wimmer speaks in our main programme interview for the first time since his arrival at the club in this weekend’s issue – the Austrian defender addressing his first few months at Spurs, the form of our regular Toby Alderweireld-Jan Vertonghen centre-back partnership and his plans for the busy festive period ahead.

Indeed, with this being our final programme before the festive season, Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino also speaks about what’s sure to be a challenging few weeks on the pitch in his exclusive column.

Meanwhile, with Newcastle United our visitors this weekend, we’ve all you need to know about the Magpies’ squad thanks to a host of player profiles and statistics. Legendary former Newcastle man Malcolm Macdonald is our ‘Visiting Great’, recalling some of the times he played against us for the Magpies during his career, while Peter McWilliam links both clubs in our ‘Gaffer Tapes’ column, which looks at individuals who played for one team and went on to manage the other.

In addition, the career of former Spurs and Newcastle star David Ginola is profiled in pictures, while we recall Paul Gascoigne’s Spurs debut, which came away at Newcastle – the club from which he joined us – in September, 1988.

There’s also a chat with Nacer Chadli, who is glad to be back in the fold after injury, we trace what Ben Davies and legendary former left-back Cyril Knowles were up to during this week in years gone by in the latest instalment of our regular ‘Tracking Back’ feature and we’ve the latest from our Academy sides following a busy spell on the pitch.

All this and much more is included in Sunday’s official matchday programme – on sale for £3.50 from a number of locations around the stadium and from the Spurs Megastore.

Take a sneak peek at the programme with our free 12-page preview edition at from 11am on Saturday – or purchase the full issue as an online digital edition from the same time, saving money on the cover price and enabling you to enjoy the full programme the day before the game.

Programme subscription packages are also available for the season with 24 issues delivered direct to your door. Visit for more information.
