Spurs v Leicester - pick up a programme!

08 January 2016|Tottenham Hotspur

Be sure to pick up your copy of our ever-popular official matchday programme when we return to action at White Hart Lane against Leicester City in the FA Cup on Sunday.

As always, it’s 100 pages full of news, views, pictures, stats and nostalgia and it’s on sale at the game for just £3.50.

This weekend’s edition features a big interview with 18-year-old midfielder Josh Onomah, who made his first team debut at this stage of last season’s FA Cup campaign and has since been rewarded for his hard work with a series of cameo appearances in the Premier League and Europa League. Always striving to improve, the Academy starlet speaks about his progress over the last few months and discusses his hopes for 2016.

We also hear from Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino in his latest exclusive programme column, while we’ve all you need to know about Leicester City’s squad with player profiles and statistics. Ex-Leicester defender Frank McLintock is this week’s ‘Visiting Great’ as he looks back on some of the past meetings between us and the Foxes, while we’ve an interview with popular former goalkeeper Kasey Keller, who represented both clubs with distinction during his storied career.

With Leicester also in N17 for a Premier League game on Wednesday, John Fennelly recalls our back-to-back meetings with the Foxes in 1999 with the aid of the matchday programme at the time in ‘Back Beat’, while there’s a nostalgic look at the Spurs debut of goalkeeper Jimmy Smith, which came away to this week’s opponents in October, 1925.

Our regular ‘Tracking Back’ feature is also included as we trace what Tom Carroll and former midfielder Andy Sinton were up to on this week in seasons gone by, while the ‘Final Word’ goes to musician and passionate Spurs fan Chas Hodges.

For all this and much more, don’t miss Sunday’s official matchday programme, on sale for £3.50 from a number of locations around the stadium and from the Spurs Megastore.

Take a sneak peek at the programme with our free 12-page preview edition at from 10am on Saturday – or purchase the full issue as an online digital edition from the same time, saving money on the cover price and enabling you to enjoy the full programme the day before the game, wherever you are in the world!
