Spurs v Leicester - betting preview with Marathonbet

08 January 2016|Tottenham Hotspur

It’s fourth versus second as Spurs and Leicester meet in the FA Cup third round at the Lane but home team Spurs are short-priced favourites with Marathonbet to progress into round four.

Indeed, Spurs are 13/20 to win on Sunday and 9/20 to qualify for the fourth round (including if the tie goes to a replay) and with currently the best defensive record in the Premier League, Mauricio Pochettino’s men are 191/100 to win to nil. Spurs are also 6/4 to win the first half and win at full time.

Harry Kane has yet to score a goal for us in the FA Cup and he’s 79/20 to put that right by scoring the first goal or 39/50 to score anytime.

Heung-Min Son is 37/5 to score first and 2/1 anytime while Dele Alli - who scored his first career goal for MK Dons in the FA Cup aged just 16 - is 21/2 to score first and 3/1 anytime having grabbed the equaliser at Everton last weekend.

It must be noted, however, that Leicester have lost just twice all season and won in a replay at the Lane when the teams met at the fourth round stage of the competition last term. The Foxes are 9/2 to win this time around.
