Spurs v Fiorentina - team news

24 February 2016|Tottenham Hotspur

Hugo Lloris and Erik Lamela are available but Harry Kane and Mousa Dembele will miss our Europa League Round of 32 second leg against Fiorentina tomorrow night (Thursday, February 25).

Goalkeeper and skipper Hugo returns from a shoulder injury sustained in the final moments of our 2-1 win at Manchester City on February 14, a knock that kept him out of the first leg in Florence and Sunday's FA Cup tie against Palace. Erik is also fit again after illness.

However, Harry is sidelined after breaking his nose against Palace and Mousa Dembele hasn't recovered from the groin injury that forced him off at half-time in the same game at the Lane on Sunday.

"The good news that Hugo and Erik are available," reported Mauricio after training today (Wednesday, February 24).

"Harry has broken his nose, he’s having an operation today to sort out the problem and he’s not available tomorrow. Mousa has a small injury in his groin.

"Tom Carroll (cut on Achilles) is maybe looking at one week more."

Jan Vertonghen and Clinton Njie continue to recover from their respective knee injuries.

The score is 1-1 after last week's first leg.
