Spurs v City - travel information
24 September 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
Important travel information and train timetables for fans attending Saturday’s match against Manchester City at White Hart Lane.
Reminder, we kick off at 12.45pm.
As announced previously - CLICK HERE TO VIEW STORY - supporters should be aware that due to safety concerns, London Overground and TFL have taken the decision to close post-match access to the southbound platform of White Hart Lane station for Saturday’s match against City.
Enfield Town services are planned to be formed of eight carriages with four carriages on the Cheshunt services.
The Club held an urgent meeting with London Overground on Tuesday 15th September and were advised that this closure was to to alleviate overcrowding on the southbound (London) platform during the period of Network Rail planned engineering works affecting the match.
The advertised timetable will run as scheduled in both directions before kick-off and in the northbound (Enfield Town/Cheshunt) direction post-match.
Supporters are advised to use Northumberland Park station if possible for connections to Tottenham Hale (Victoria Line) and London Liverpool Street (via Stratford).
Alternatively supporters who are able to do so may wish to walk to Seven Sisters station for the London Underground Victoria Line service, which is approximately 2.5km (20 minutes’ walk) from the stadium straight down Tottenham High Road.
Please be aware that the planned Network Rail engineering work means services will be affect and journey times potentially increase on the Northumberland Park Abellio Greater Anglia route.
The Victoria Line will operate a normal service for both games.
Please check before you travel and leave additional time.
For further information on the London Overground restrictions and service, including the planned engineering works, please visit https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/london-overground/ or email email@example.com.
Services to/from Northumberland Park will run to an increased frequency with up to six eight-car trains per hour formed of services between Cambridge and Liverpool Street, Hertford East and Liverpool Street.
**Please note that Cambridge route services are diverted to/from Stratford instead of Liverpool Street as a result of Network Rail track renewal work in the Hackney Downs area.**
ROADWORKS - M11
We should like to make supporters aware of planned works on behalf of Transport for London on the M11 southbound from the M25 between junctions 6 and 4, at the junctions between the A12 and A406, and the A13 and A406.
We would advise all supporters to plan their journeys prior to travelling - https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/ - and allow extra time to get to White Hart Lane on matchday to ensure you don't miss a second of the action.
