Spurs v City - pick up a programme!

25 September 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

We’ve another jam-packed edition of our official matchday programme on sale for the visit of Manchester City on Saturday.

Harry Kane is pictured on the front cover of our latest issue, which features all the news, views, pictures, nostalgia and statistics you’ll need ahead of our meeting with Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

As usual, Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino has his say in his exclusive programme column, while charismatic goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is the subject of our main interview – the French international skipper discussing the importance of team spirit on and off the pitch.

Profiles of the visiting squad are included along with a chat with City legend Tony Book, who recalls a famous meeting between the two sides in 1967.

There’s also a look at the career of former forward and goal machine Clive Allen, who represented both clubs, while we recall Danny Blanchflower’s Spurs debut, which came away at City in December, 1954.

Elsewhere, we delve into the matchday programme archives to discover what was written when we took on Manchester City in back-to-back games in December, 1912, while we trace what Kyle Walker and South Korean former full-back Young-Pyo Lee were up to on this week in past seasons in the latest instalment of our ‘Tracking Back’ feature.

Legendary defensive duo Graham Roberts and Paul Miller open up about their forthcoming induction into our Hall of Fame, there’s a pictorial look at the career of another Hall of Famer in Martin Peters, we’ve the latest from our Under-21s and Under-18s sides including interviews with some of our younger players, the latest from Spurs Ladies and much more!

Be sure to pick up your copy of Saturday’s 100-page matchday programme – on sale from several points around the stadium and from the Spurs Megastore, priced at £3.50.

Remember, new for this season, MySpurs Members can read free extracts from each matchday programme from four hours before the game.
