Spurs v Burnley - opposing manager's view
17 December 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
Burnley manager Sean Dyche has hailed the "brilliant job" being done by Mauricio Pochettino ahead of Sunday's clash with the Clarets at White Hart Lane.
Promoted back to the Premier League earlier this year, Dyche's men have only managed to pick up a solitary point on the road this season, drawing 0-0 at Manchester United back in October.
Following a 1-0 loss at West Ham on Wednesday night, Dyche is expecting another tough test when he brings his side back down to London this weekend.
And while he spoke of his admiration for Mauricio's efforts, he insisted that he'll be doing all he can to mastermind a first away victory of the campaign for the Turf Moor outfit.
“We’ll approach the Spurs game in the same way and that’s to give a performance," he said.
“We did that in the second half at West Ham but not the first half and that’s something we’ve got to change.
“It’s tough, especially when you go to clubs like Tottenham where Mauricio and his players have done a brilliant job.
“They are a force to be reckoned with this season, without a shadow of a doubt.
“It has been a tough balance to find, but it’s our job to find that balance and look to take our good performances away.”
